Summer is the perfect time to stay active - but it's also the season for sprains, strains, dehydration, and overuse injuries. Keep your bones, joints, and muscles healthy with these simple tips:

🏃 Warm Up Before Activities
Stretch and loosen up before sports, yard work, swimming, or outdoor exercise to help prevent injuries.

💧 Stay Hydrated
Muscles and joints work better when your body is hydrated. Drink plenty of water, especially in the Arkansas heat!

👟 Wear Proper Footwear
Supportive shoes can help prevent ankle injuries, knee pain, and falls during summer activities.

🏖ïļ Don't Overdo It
Weekend projects and summer sports can lead to overuse injuries. Take breaks and listen to your body.

ðŸšī Use Safety Gear
Helmets, knee pads, and wrist guards can help prevent serious injuries while biking, skating, or riding ATVs.

ðŸĶī Protect Your Back
Lift with your legs - not your back - when moving coolers, luggage, mulch, or outdoor equipment.

☀ïļ Watch for Heat Fatigue
Heat exhaustion can increase the risk of falls and muscle injuries. Rest in the shade and cool down often.

❄ïļ Ice Sore Muscles & Joints
After activity, icing sore areas for 15-20 minutes can help reduce inflammation and pain.
